Andy Rouse’s Rover SD1 is one of the defining cars of 1980s British Touring Car racing. The big V8-powered Rover carried huge presence on track, combining raw speed with Rouse’s engineering skill and racecraft.

In 1984, the #7 Industrial Control Services SD1 was a front-running force, showcasing the strengths of the car’s broad chassis, strong torque, and stability over a race distance.

Its blue-and-white livery became closely associated with Rouse’s success, and the SD1 remains one of the most memorable machines from the Group A era.
